Laying upside down
can do wonders for perception.
Suddenly,
the world is much more interesting.

When you think you’ve seen it all
look again, differently
When you think you’ve seen it all
think again, differently...
You may decide the world is much more interesting
upside down.

Sometimes you need to sleep
at the foot of your bed
just to see the world in a different way...
so you can find what you’re looking for.

Whomever’s watching you is sure to be amused
unless you do it all the time
and then they may decide
you’re much more interesting when they’re upside down.

i haven't written anything for a long while, and this one just popped out while i was laying around on my bed upside down looking at how weird my ceiling looks from that angle.

It's a bit of a fun random poem... but it does sort of have some meaning to it if you think about it.

Not really looking for a hardcore critique unless you're dying to give one... input is always appreciated though. But keep in mind it's just a fun thing i put on paper in 15 minutes.

I like it. it's fun and yet could be interpreted extremely seriously. I don't have the brainpower for doing that at the moment.
but it definitely attempted to make me think!

I wanted to sleep upside down tonight, because the fan is at the foot of the bed and it's stinking bloody hot, but Ian (my boyfriend) told me to move back up to the right end :(
